Devo Race Report – Visit South Aegean Islands – Stage 2

Development team General Manager Daniel Holt:

“On paper it appeared to be a hard stage. 6 laps with a climb each lap, plus thunderstorms were likely. Simple strategy: to save as much energy and survive. Then try for something in the last hour.”

“Doriand, Sacha and Antonio were perfect all race. Good positioning and stayed calm in the torrential downpour. Doriand was able to position well for the finale, but blew apart with 1km to go. Good on him for trying to hang in there with the lead group and now  we can look forward to a few days of hard training here on the island ahead of the Rhodes GP at the end of the week followed by the Tour of Rhodes.”
