Team Novo Nordisk’s new clothing sponsor for the 2018 season is Giessegi Srl (GSG), which was founded in 1984 by Italian professional road and track rider Simone Fraccaro.

Fraccaro was a standout on both the road and track during the 1970s and 80s and raced professionally from 1974-1984 with some of the biggest names of the decade: Francesco Moser, Giuseppe Saronni, and Gianbattista Baronchelli. His accolades include winning several Giro d’Italia stages and showing his strength and power in the Northern European Classics.

After his lengthy pro career, Fraccaro invested his experience and money into creating more innovative and comfortable cycling clothing and Giessegi Srl was born.

Fast-forward nearly four decades, and the company is now one of the five leading custom bikewear manufacturers in Italy. Giessegi delivers its products to 30 countries on all continents. Their main goal is to satisfy their customers’ requests by adapting their service and products to meet market needs and follow new trends.

Giessegi maintains its production facilities in northeast Italy, so they can have direct control on the supply chain, product development, and manufacturing process. Everything made by Giessegi is a 100% Italian made product.
