Mandy Marquardt Earns Silver at Pan Am Track Championships

Result: Silver Medalist in the Team Sprint at the Pan American Track Championships

Aguascalientes, Mexico – Team Novo Nordisk track cyclist Mandy Marquardt took silver in Wednesday’s team sprint at the 2018 Pan American Track Cycling Championships. 

Mandy Marquardt: 

“In the morning we qualified second fastest, giving us the opportunity to defend our 2017 Team Sprint win, but in the evening at our gold medal final against Mexico we came up short, BUT we beat our own 2016 National Record by almost half a second. That was awesome!

I’m honored to be here representing USA Cycling and the entire diabetes community. This event is the first Olympic Qualifier for Tokyo 2020.”
