Team Novo Nordisk Development Puts in Solid Ride on Stage 2 of Tour of South Bohemia

The second stage of the Tour of South Bohemia started in the small town of České Velenice, just by the border with Austria. The 137-kilometer route featured strong crosswinds at the beginning and climbing in the second half, but Team Novo Nordisk Development put in a solid ride.

“Today was a day of crosswinds. I told the guys to fight for a good position in the peloton and save as much energy as possible for tomorrow’s Queen stage. I also told them to stay hydrated and, if they felt up to it, to finish in the final sprint.”

“Anton once again produced a good performance, finishing in the main group. He is strong and is gaining experience racing in European races. Overall, all the guys did great today, and for the next stages we’re aiming to help Anton sprint to the top 20.”
