Team Novo Nordisk set for debut at the Tour de Limousin

Atlanta, GA – The world´s first all diabetes pro cycling team, Team Novo Nordisk, heads to France to make its first appearance to the Tour du Limousin-Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
The four-day event will start in Couzeix on August 18th and the Tour will follow hilly roads across the areas that once were part of Limousin, Haute-Vienne, Corréze and Creuse.
“The Tour du Limousin is our third race after the restart of the season. We’ve got some racing miles at this point and we bring a very competitive roster to Limousin“ said Team Novo Nordisk’ General Manager Vassili Davidenko.
Frenchman Charles Planet and the Italian Andrea Peron will line up alongside the two-time Hungarian former national champion Peter Kusztor with support coming from Oliver Behringer (SUI), Sam Brand (GBR – Isle of Man), the Verona native Umberto Poli and Dutchman Brian Kamstra.
“Charles is racing at home and he’s ready to perform at his top ability. Andrea is ready for the sprints and the team will be there to support their leaders“ continued Davidenko. “As always, teamwork will be important. We are ready for a good week in France.“
