TNN Development Kicks Off In the Footsteps of the Romans with Strong Performance

Team Novo Nordisk Development had a strong start at the In the Footsteps of the Romans race, securing two top 20 finishes in the 126km first stage. Antonio Polga finished in 19th place, while Nathan Smith delivered an impressive 12th-place finish, just outside the top 10.

“Compared to two years ago, today’s weather was perfect. It was hot, but there was no crosswind, so I predicted a bunch sprint. Our plan was to sprint with Doriand, with all other riders supporting him in the final.”
