TNN Devo’s tough day in the saddle at the Tour of South Bohemia

Team Novo Nordisk Development faced their toughest challenge yet on the third day of the Tour of South Bohemia, the Queen stage. The 133-kilometer route featured 2700 meters of climbing, including three laps of the infamous Javornik climb.

Daniel Holt, Development Team General Manager:

“I told the guys to stay in the main group for as long as possible, save their energy for the final climb, and be careful not to get caught in any splits in the peloton in the first half.”

“The riders did a good job. On the climbs, they worked together to stay in the groupetto. They all finished the stage safely and within the time limit. We are now looking forward to the final stage tomorrow and hopefully finishing it on a positive note.”
