I was very excited for this race. It’s always great to race in France, my home country, and it was also my first time racing the Paris Camembert.

It was a tough race, with short climbs all day. I started quite well, with good feelings, and kept my place within the peloton throughout the whole race. In the last climb though, I felt super tired and didn’t have the energy in the final 8 kilometer to get the result I was hoping for.

But my teammates and I did our best. We had a solid week with hard races in the legs and we need some recovery now before heading to Belgium for the Brabantse Pijl.
