PROFILE
19-year-old Italian Alessandro Perracchione returns with Team Novo Nordisk for 2025 after a solid debut season that included important senior racing experience at the Baloise Tour of Belgium, Tour of Denmark and WorldTour events GP Quebec and Montreal. The standout performance came at the Tour of Estonia, finishing the race as second best young rider and 20th overall.
Perracchione joined the TNN pro team in 2024 after two years of impressive results including back-to-back victories in 2022 and 2023 at Trofeo Alba Rosa and most recently an end of season win at Trofeo Polisportiva Camignone sees the Piemontese move straight up from the junior ranks.
Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was only two years old, Perracchione understandably can’t remember life without diabetes and enjoys the support of a loving family of which he is the only child.
After developing a passion for cycling at an early age Perracchione initially started racing off road on a mountain bike at the age of seven before switching seriously to the road in his early teens and he hasn’t looked back.
